“Happiness is not something readymade; it
comes from your own actions.” Dalai Lama. I really loved reading this
story “The Woman with the Hair” This lady had only three hairs and
she kept losing one hair every day until she got bald. The good thing about
this story is that the lady is not embraced from having a single hair on her
head. Every day was a perfect day to her, I wish if I was bald so that I can
have a good day every day. That story taught us a good lesson, which is long,
shiny, colorful hair doesn’t make the lady happy. That lady enjoyed her day
without feeling something is missing in her body, however hair is the most
important thing in the woman’s body. A lot of things could make us happy, such
as having good health, job, love, and family.
non of us is perfect, but if we are having problem to go with it,then we are only making ourself unhappy without any reason, right??
True, agreed 🙂
Ali I believe that you don’t need to go bald to be happy….hahahaha
But I do agree with you. We all felt sorry for that lady but you know what attracts us to this story is that lady didn’t feel sorry for herself. Sometimes we feel bad when we see people in trouble….because I believe that if I was in his shoes, maybe I couldn’t survive. But I believe that GOD always gives everyone what he could take.
Kol sana we anta tayab. Eid karem.
HAHAHA no, i dont want to be bald 🙂
Well said, Mariam. O inte tayaba ya rab
What???? Why you wana be bald?? Well, if you really going to be bald like the lady in the story, you can alway wear a wig ^;* just kidding!!! But, it is true that you still can live your life happy even though you hairless.
hahahaha being bald is fun to me becuase i have always had gel on my hair.. maybe new experience!!
ali well said
You know, maybe this story seems more real to men, since more men tend to go bald than do women. I remember when my husband began to lose his hair. It took him a while to make peace with his baldness. For a while he wanted to pretend it wasn’t happening, but ultimately he shaved his head & just embraced it, sort of like the lady in the story. And honestly, he felt really free once he did that. (plus I think he looks sexy bald)
